The Mirror of Race project is seeking artists of all kinds to do original work in response to the images and themes in its online exhibition of early photography. For example, we would welcome contributions in areas such as photography, digital film, or spoken word work, but these are by no means the only possibilities. Our goal is to stimulate a reflective conversation between the present and the past through art and to offer a diverse range of responses for the viewers who come to this site.

Submissions will be peer-reviewed, and accepted works will be exhibited here on the Mirror of Race website in online galleries. If you are interested, please visit our Submissions page for guidelines.
